These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of immunodoc.in (the “Site”), operated by Dr. Yerram Keerthi Vardhan, MD DM (“Immunodoc”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Educational purpose — no doctor–patient relationship
All articles, guides, quizzes, diaries, downloads and other content on the Site are provided for general education only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional who has examined you.
Browsing the Site, reading an article, using the self-assessment quiz or downloading a resource does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Such a relationship is created only when you book and complete a paid consultation, and then only for the scope of that consultation.
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read on this Site.
2. Teleconsultations
Teleconsultations booked through the Site are conducted in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and applicable regulations of the National Medical Commission.
- Teleconsultation is appropriate for many, but not all, clinical situations. The doctor may determine that an in-person examination is required and may decline or terminate a consultation on that basis.
- You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and current information about your symptoms, history, medications and investigations. Clinical decisions depend on it.
- You must be physically located in India at the time of the consultation unless expressly agreed otherwise.
- Consultations are for the named patient. A consultation booked for a minor must be attended by a parent or legal guardian.
- Prescriptions, where issued, follow the categories and restrictions set out in the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020.
- Recording of consultations by either party is not permitted without the prior express consent of the other.
- Clinical records are retained in accordance with applicable Indian law.
Teleconsultation is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 108 or attend your nearest emergency department.
3. Fees, payment and refunds
Consultation fees are those displayed on the booking page at the time of booking. Healthcare consultation services are exempt from GST under current Indian law; digital products such as courses and e-books, where offered, attract GST at the applicable rate.
- A slot is confirmed only once payment has been received.
- A full refund is issued if the doctor is unable to take the call at the booked time and a mutually convenient alternative cannot be arranged.
- Rescheduling is permitted where notice is given at least 12 hours before the appointment.
- No refund is issued for a missed appointment where the patient does not attend and has given no prior notice.
- Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.
4. Use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site. In particular, you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems, interfere with its normal operation, scrape or bulk-download content for commercial reuse, impersonate any person, or submit false information when registering for clinician-only areas.
Access to professional sections of the Site is restricted to verified registered medical practitioners. We may verify, suspend or revoke such access at our discretion.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, illustrations, downloads, and the Immunodoc name and logo — is owned by or licensed to Immunodoc and is protected by Indian and international copyright law.
You may read, print and share content for personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote briefly with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not republish, translate, resell or use content to train commercial machine-learning models without our prior written permission.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site links to external resources and uses third-party services for scheduling, payments and analytics. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
7. Privacy and data protection
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which reflects our obligations as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is”. While we take care to keep clinical content accurate and current, medicine changes and we make no warranty that all content is complete, current or applicable to your individual circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Immunodoc shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Site or reliance on its educational content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from professional negligence in the course of a consultation.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
