  • A second opinion on a diagnosis or treatment already given by your treating doctor

No Doctor-Patient Relationship

The act of visiting, browsing, or reading content on Immunodoc does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Dr. Keerthi Vardhan, or between you and any other individual or organisation associated with this website.

A doctor-patient relationship is only established through a formal teleconsultation or in-person consultation with Dr. Keerthi Vardhan, conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations — including the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Emergency Medical Situations

If you are experiencing a medical emergency

Do not use this website. Call 112 (National Emergency Number) or go immediately to your nearest hospital emergency department. Immunodoc is not an emergency medical service and cannot respond to medical emergencies.

The following symptoms in the context of autoimmune disease, allergy, or immunodeficiency may represent medical emergencies requiring immediate in-person care:

  • Anaphylaxis: sudden difficulty breathing, tongue or throat swelling, rapidly spreading hives, collapse, or loss of consciousness following food, medication, or insect exposure
  • Severe allergic reaction: any rapidly progressing allergic symptoms affecting the airway or circulation
  • Neuropsychiatric lupus: sudden confusion, seizures, or acute psychosis in a known SLE patient
  • High fever with joint pain in a patient on immunosuppressive therapy — could indicate septic arthritis or systemic infection
  • Severe chest pain or breathlessness in patients with known autoimmune disease — may indicate pericarditis, myocarditis, or pulmonary hypertension

Telemedicine Services

Paid teleconsultation services offered through Immunodoc are governed by the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020 issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (published in the Gazette of India, 25 March 2020). Dr. Keerthi Vardhan's NMC registration number is disclosed in all formal communications and prescriptions.

By booking a teleconsultation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Telemedicine has inherent limitations compared to in-person consultation; a physical examination is not possible
  • You are responsible for providing accurate, complete medical history during the consultation
  • Prescriptions issued via telemedicine are valid digital prescriptions in accordance with applicable guidelines and must be filled at a licensed pharmacy
  • Certain medications (including Schedule X drugs and narcotics) cannot be prescribed through telemedicine as per the Guidelines
  • You have the right to refuse a teleconsultation at any point; a refund policy applies as communicated at the time of booking
  • Digital records of teleconsultations are retained for a minimum of 3 years in compliance with applicable regulations
Consent

Consent for a teleconsultation is implied when a patient initiates the consultation by completing booking and payment. Explicit written consent is obtained before any audio or video recording of a consultation session. Consultation records are maintained with strict confidentiality.
